70% of our patients travel to a CTCA hospital from out of state for the treatment options and care we provide. Here are just a few more reasons why.
Advanced treatments and technologies, all under one roof.
All of our hospitals are equipped to treat cancer, including complex and advanced-stage cancers, with state-of-the-art technology. We are continuously bringing our patients new options in surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and hormone therapy. We also use advanced detection tools to diagnose and stage cancer, track treatment response, and monitor tumors with accuracy and precision throughout your cancer treatment.
Integrative care that helps mind, body and soul.
At CTCA, we fight cancer with advanced technology, and treat the symptoms that can occur during treatment. The result: a personalized treatment plan that focuses on getting better and maintaining a high quality of life. We know that you and your loved one have a life to live during treatment. We’ll do all we can to aggressively fight cancer and reduce side effects so you can both thrive.
Therapies to help manage side effects:
Nutritional support. Even a 5 percent change in body mass can affect treatment outcomes. Your dietitian will recommend the right foods to help maintain weight and prevent malnutrition, in order to minimize treatment interruptions.
Naturopathic medicine. Naturopaths work with your oncologist to include natural therapies to restore digestive health, manage nausea or fatigue, and boost immune function.
Pain management. We want to make our patients as comfortable as possible during treatment. A customized pain control plan may include medication, plus therapies to reduce side effects.
Spiritual support. For faith-based individuals, our spiritual team works with the care team to help keep you both in positive frame of mind.
Mind-body medicine. Classes, relaxation therapies, couples counseling and more are available to you and your loved one to help you make this journey together.
Put the patient first. Always.
Our Patient Empowered Care® model guides us as we interact with patients and their families. In keeping with its philosophy, your CTCA experience will include:
- A Care Manager, your single point of contact during the entire treatment process.
- Continuity of care, so you have the same care team every time.
- Respect for your schedule.
- A care team that gets to know you as a person, not just a patient.
- Doctors that provide resources and information, so patients can meaningfully participate in their own care.
- Fast lab and imaging turnaround times.
Above-average national ratings
